It seems you have confused and the oil with the wheel.
Since I had the front lifted anyway, I took the wheels off for more access and light underneath, plus it allowed me to clean the insides of the wheels and the calipers well. Not my first rodeo.

when we had to give my wife's 4 series back they came to inspect, practically the entire lip of one wheel was curbed bad. The rest had their fair share as well. I was ready to send them all to my buddy to refinish them and said "let me see what they are going to charge me first". Guy's like "these arent a problem" lol
Between that and the practically bald tires I really was shocked they didnt charge me anything. Just made it on the mileage too so its not like I gave them back something way under mileage to make up for some curbed wheels
