Just 'another' thread relating to the installation of the Flex Fuel sensor wire when installing the DSX - 09-15 CTS-V DSX Flex Fuel Kit.

I purchased my kit from Mont Motor Sports. It was in stock, shipped, and received within a week as of 14 Jan. 2023.

I just thought to add images and a tool suggestion to be used when installing the pin/wire to the connector plug.

Cost of the pin insertion tool is less than one US dollar. It is made of plastic and can be used a number of times. I prefer using plastic insertion tools to avoid potential wire damage sometimes caused when using metal tools.

The tool enables the pin to be easily inserted into the plug using slight force to properly seat and lock the pin into place without the risk of damaging the pin/wire crimp or the plug/pin lock.

When the pin is properly locked into the plug there will be a clicking sound.

It is good shop practice to verify that the pin is positively locked into place after installing by using your hand and pulling the wire slightly rearward.
