As most of you already probably know draggy and 60-130mph are pretty much the go to comparing how fast your car is with other cars throughout the nation. Obviously you can go to the track but so many more factors come in to play like 60’ mostly. I don’t see very much info on my search only six threads even popped up mentioning a dragy so I’m thinking that not many guys here use it. It’s a fairly cheap device and it can be shared with friends, passed around and tested in different vehicles. Once my car is finished I’ll be posting my 60-130 time although I don’t think it will be crazy fast it should be decent in the 4’s I’m hoping. Comparatively my tt r8 popped off of a pb of 3.31 seconds when it was making 1300ish whp.
Maybe we can create a sticky to track it or use this thread doesn’t really matter, just post your times to create another fast list💨

Here is my 5.07s 60-130 in near freezing temps with some traction issues. With the stars aligned, warmer weather and better traction, it probably could have gone 4s. This was with it making ~915whp sae on a dynojet. I think the V3 needs different gearing to put up respectable 60-130 times. The weight doesn't help either lol.

I sold the V3 in June and my new bone stock daily driver does mid 4s with oem tires lol. Plaid

Unfortunately traction issues with PD blower cars are gonna be a factor depending on temps/tires, but I did hear that last shift that brought you from 105-ish to 130 kind of bogged almost right after the shift like it was a really tall gear. V’s are pigs but most cars are these days lmao. Damn Teslas move out, can’t be mad at it tho my zero to sixty shits on almost everyone’s day and I can only imagine the plaid haha

I bought a Dragy after I took the car apart...just can't WAIT to put it to use! Someday...i will get some parts and I will then complete my build.
Will post here with results
Quoting myself to add my first Dragy time:

Probably sub 5 seconds. He did not mention letting up halfway through the pull.
I'm looking forward to an updated time. Especially as he gets used to the Surly Power!

I recently had a flash of memory... while the car was down, I had bought a Dragy... and have never used it.
Gave it a quick try today.
There was a moment of mistaken (vehicle markings) identity that made me briefly get out of it (see graphic) but anyway, here's what I got. View attachment 164236

Do I need to buy one of these Dragy things? Or do you all get bored of using it after playing around for a few pulls?
Really depends on whether internet points are important to you (good to have one) or if you are always tinkering with your car, making improvements and would like a gauge of whether and how much the changes are having the desired effect (good for that as well).

If you have a time slip or a dyno sheet on your car and you don't ever change anything, then probably not very useful.
I like it as I'm constantly piddling with the car and I don't have easy access to run down to the local track.

I personally used it a lot while I was chasing a sub 2.99 60-130 in my r8 but like anything you get over it eventually and it will sit.
Need stars to align when trying to set fast fast times, but great tool to generally compare how you stack up against others from anywhere in the world.

Same here and while my tuning laptop is always in the car, I haven't run a log in several weeks. Probably time to do so .
