I'm kinda surprised there is nothing here on it, since lots of people were looking for 4.5in.
Anyway, I had no idea they made one, and randomly stumbled upon it.
Placed the order a couple of days ago, and put it in this morning.
Install is not hard, obviously doing filter change is kinda going be a bitch, just like the airaid.
This is literally a 4.5 in Airaid, velocity stack is nice, and looks like it's made out of billet aluminum. Some things are a little more simplified.
Their provided coupler is for larger intakes, and will be too big on stock. I used airaid tb rubber gasket thingy sandwiched inside provided coupler on my 90mm and it fits fine.

Main reason I got it is because I just could not dial in MAF with RPM 5in intake, and figured I give this one a try. So far, only did 1 revision on VVE and everything was a little rich, going down from 5in. Will try MAF, most likely next week.

Only thing I noticed today, is my IAT2 is about 5-8 degrees higher with this one. Also, I have not been able to spin my tires at 70-80mph, but my fueling is still rich up top 🤙

I'm going to keep the RPM intake, and whenever I go heads and maybe larger displacement and/or ported/2300/2650 blower, I will most likely try it out to see if there is a difference

I also saw the 4.5“ when I was purchasing all my parts. I ended up going with the RPM 5” as well. My tuner is also having problems getting the MAF correct. We have the car being tuned again as we speak trying to get it right. Keep us posted, that might be my next purchase if we can’t get the 5” working.

What size throttle body are you running?

@Liquor Pig yeah, I kept having crazy lean and rich swings around ~2400-4000hz on mine. Sometimes I would get it OK, and the next day it would not start or idle at all. I think I wasted like 2-3 weeks of my time and $100s worth of gas on MAF portion, lol
I'll probably try doing MAF on this one tomorrow morning.

What sucks on my end is that it's the wifes car and now its unreliable. Evertime she tries to take it out (every 2 weeks), it doesn't start.

Good news. On MAF revision 5 since early this morning, and everything is good. Just need to dial in mid range and wot some more.
Tunes just like Airade , no crazy Freq or fuel swings idle is fine, going from a stop is fine as well.🤙
I bumped original Airade MAF table like 10%, and ended up a little lean. I would add 10% from 0-4k HZ, and the rest ~15% if I had to do it again.

I feel like I missed something exciting  😢
You didn’t miss much. Fred50 was doing some whoring and got banned. So my tuner finally dialled in my 5” intake. Very Happy with the final dyno numbers. 757rhp and 695TQ

What’s the general consensus on when to go from a 4in intake up to the 5in? Is there usually a hp number where the 4in starts to be too small?

Not going by air flow, I believe people on here were mentioning that airaid (4in) is hard to beat up until ~700ish. But I think, any ported heads/blower and /or larger TB will benefit from larger intake. I mean, that would typically put you at mid 700 ++, so it makes sense. I don't have any after 1/4 times yet, to see a difference, just the butt-dyno.

I’m just considering going to a 4.5in intake since I went ported blower now. Wasn’t sure if there was unwritten rules of when it’s beneficial to switch
