Finally had a day to tear down my V last Sunday.
New ID1050 injectors
2.5 Pulley
Idler
Plugs
Plug wires
thermostat
Flex Fuel Sensor
Catch Can
Sent to the brick to DMS Monday morning and had it back Wednesday morning ( Those guys rock)

Put the car back together yesterday and put it on the rollers this afternoon.

Made 535 on 93 so off to a good start

Added 6 gal of E85 which put the content to 49% E.
Immediately go lean on first pull due to dropping fuel pressure 51 lbs at 4600 RPM (558 whp)

The only thing I can imagine is I need more pump. Is the DSX pump kit still the most popular way to go?

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm interested to see what people's opinions on the in tanks are... Looking to switch over to flex this winter and my tuner suggests fore, seems overkill to me though.

Fore system is arguably the best you can buy and most expensive…. Hopefully that’s not why he’s recommending it!

DWs are good for 700whp or so on e.

Aux and stock in tanks good for what, 900whp?

Aux and in tank upgrade good for 1000+whp

There are options other than Fore...the fuel slosh starvation effect is real.

...but honestly your numbers on stock pumps seem a little low for e50. Maybe one or both are weakening with age...

Of course you also need a sweet billet fuel hat while your in there!

Adam's fuel hat is a must - stage 2 for the Aux kit. DW300s are a no Brainer.

Aux kit is probably optional with the DW300s and some tuning tweaks - but will be essentially plug and play with Adam's fuel hat!

@shadyscott69 Just put the ALM hat in along with DWS when my stock pumps failed. @Random can attest that I have plenty of pressure.

Summer temps aren’t great indicators of whether or not you have enough pump.

You shouldn't be out of fuel. I'm running 2.45, E, full exhaust on FIC1000. Made 602rwhp. I'm still on stock pumps, just using a DSX E sensor.

I wouldn't think so either but here I am. Any suggestions?
Replace the in tank pumps. You might have pumps that just can't do what they did new.

^^^THIS^^^

Stock pumps with mileage are tired. The DW300's are the way to go.

I ordered a DSX aux pump this morning. Figured that would be quicker to install. If I still see issues I will cut a hole in the floor and change the in tank pumps next.

I’d get Adam’s fuel hat to, his level 2 has a provision for the aux pump so you don’t have to tap your tank
