Normally turning the start nob engages starter and the engine starts right up. Now, when I turn nob the engine turns over for another second before starting. What's the delay and how to I fix? Thanks

Could be a weak battery, weak fuel pump, old plugs, dirty filter, etc. Too broad of a question really. Any other symptoms, or was something done to the car recently?

Not meaning to be a smart alec, but I don't see guys quoting scan codes. I would guess something would show up as a weak function.
