CTSV dreamer, intro with current build

Well, its not the refined pedigree of a CTSV, but I wanted to learn what I'm doing first before I turn myself loose building and tuning on an actual nice car like the caddy. I joined here because I'm thinking about buying a CTSV as my next project car and there is also more activity here than on the caprice forum.

Last year I took a 2013 Chevy Caprice PPV with no engine and used a virgin 6.2 block to turn it into something halfway decent and fun to drive. Full specs are in my signature below, so I wont bother repeating it. Instead here are a few pics, enjoy. I did 100% of the work myself (son helped too). Including electronics, tuning, fabricating, 3D printing custom parts for it.

Very interesting.
I bet that surprises a lot of cars on the road! Very cool!
I'll bet no one blocks you in the fast lane!

Welcome to the forum!

Lots to read here, hopefully some is helpful.

Please read the Classifieds Rules for future reference
as they are serious about all that stuff, here.

Properly badass! Been getting real close to picking up a Caprice PPV for a daily to replace my Crown Vic P71. Although, can't say I'll ever get close to 830whp, even with my V LOL. Again, welcome to the forum and I must say this would be a dream build for me.

Nice! It would be a bit of a drive for you, but my son and I (he has an '04 GTO) went to the Holden Cookout this year and it was pretty cool! Lots of Caprice PPVs, GT0s, G8s and Utes. Plus it was just a good time. They do it every year.
