CTS- V 3 widebody

Isn't it wide enough? Maybe check the BRZ forum for ideas.

I've only seen one, would love to tackle a full on DTM bodykit. The true crime is that you can't really go wider than maybe a 305.

Did a quick search and I found one article on it. It’s certainly not to my taste, especially the rear flares.

Agreed. The rear flares simply look out of proportion and it transitions/ blends way to high into the rear door (just below the door handle)/ rear quarter panel.

Front looks great, rear looks like a new ford dually. Needs a more gradual and graceful extension. If you're going to modify the rear door, rocker, bumper, and quarter, there's no reason to be so dramatic. Blend it, like the front.

Freakin D3. Looks like bushwhacker fender extensions with some body filler. If you're gonna do a widebody, it can't be that dramatic. Unfortunately, it's tough withe the V3. Gotta start WAY earlier in the rear door and finish almost at the rear of the car. Even then, it'll still look a bit odd. This car just isn't made for widebody. Frankly, to do it right, you've gotta start at the end of the front door, go all the way to the tail and all the way up to the belt molding. The biggest problem with that is the rear door handle - mechanically. The next biggest problem is how do you go into the main body line that goes from fender to the read of the car without totally screwing it up.

If D3 actually sold a wide-body "kit," and you ordered it today, it'd be 322 voicemails to get an update after their promised 6 month build time has expired, 600 emails over the next 6 months after trying to cancel the sale and get a refund because the product still hasn't shipped, and only after 15 months of "it's on its way" and "we're shipping tomorrow," and "he's not in," would you receive garbage that looks nothing like the advertised item, has to be sent back, and for which you'll spend another full year of HELL trying to get refunded.

I thought they went out of business.
