I have taken my car to my local Cadillac dealership service department at least 4 times for the same issue and a couple of times they stated they could not duplicate the problem. I have even rode with my service advisor and he heard it. My sunroof makes an awful creaking noise going over bumps or on uneven surfaces. It is very annoying not to mention I bought the car brand new. My warranty is about to run out and this is my 3rd Cadillac, please help because I am so over this noise.

The bolts that hold the sunroof in are loose and need to be tightened. There is a TSB out there on this issue that I do not have. Maybe someone else on this board knows what TSB number identifies the problem and could post it.
My V3 had the same issue.

My V2 had the same issue. I pulled off the plastic bezel surrounding the moonroof so I could pull the headliner down a bit, and I reached in with a 10mm ratchet wrench and tightened all the bolts I could see. A couple of them turned a surprising amount before they snugged down. Rattle/groan noise went away when done.

Yes, it's the bolts that need tightening. I have a V2 and that fixed the noise.

I've had this car for 8 years and maybe opened it 10 times. Never did like driving with the sun on my head. I also never drive with the window down, only need to clean the inside ever 4 months.
