Coupe Radio Not Shutting Off When Opening Door

Hi, The retained power in my coupe is staying on after opening the door. Opening and shutting it a few times will finally get it to shut off. The door always opens and the window always drops a little, so I know the button is working properly. I've sprayed WD40 into the latch a few times, which may have helped a little. I would like to fix the problem. After searching the forums, I believe that I need the latch? Searching the various GM websites I can only find a 'Front Side Door Lock (W/O Handle)' - (PN 20995846 ). The images appear to be off the latch.

Is that the correct part?

I can find what is called a 'Latch', but it appears it's only for the passenger side. I can also find the passenger side 'Front Side Door Lock'. I'm not sure what the differences are.

Thank you,
-Greg

I have a 2013 sedan that had the same problem. The radio wouldn't shut off and occasionally the seat stopped retracting when the car was turned off and the drivers side door was opened.
The car was still under warranty so i took it to the dealer. they replaced some module that i think was under the seat and said it was fixed. It wasn't so I took it back and told them to replace the lock mechanism in the front door ( I had read this on this forum) They replaced the mechanism and the problem went away that was several years ago.
Generally with the coupes it is the door latch and depending on the color interior (i.e. the door release handle on the floor) the part # changes. The one the dealership pulled up for my car was 22922937.

Ah, so the part I'm looking at that says 'W/O Handle' is referring to the emergency door handle. I'm sure all coupes have the handle. Does that mean the part (20995846) is meant for sedans and wagons? I put my VIN into the site (GMpartsgiant) and it says it fits my coupe (referring to PN 20995846). I guess the website could be wrong.

Looking at more diagrams on other sites for these parts along with associated parts, it does indeed appear that PN 20995846 is for sedans/wagons and PN 22922937 is for the coupes.

Thank you for your help!

Perfect, thank you.

The other concern I have is that the door lock/actuator is being replaced by people who are having problems with the door not staying shut. My door does stay shut, it just doesn't get recognized as being opened. Does the lock/actuator have the electrical contacts inside that trigger the car/computer to shut off the retained accessory power (radio)?
Never heard of the door not staying shut but have heard of window issues because of the latch. The latch has contacts that signal the BCM as to its position - open or closed.
