Hey guys just got registered over here! I see theres already a crowd :) So I was told by some friends that I'd keep the car cooler if I used water wetter or methanol instead of coolant with the heat exchanger/supercharger. Please advise on this.

Hey Manny, how have you been? Tell your UK mates about this place.

Water wetter does help and depending on your climate, you could get away with maybe more distilled water and less antifreeze in the coolant mix. What heat exchanger do you have, stock right?

Correct im on the stock HE. The weather here drops below freezing in the winters. In the mornings now it drops into the 50s and stays in the 60s throughout the day. I would tell my UK friends but I still havent seen another V in this country :(. But I do have some friends with domestics (SRT8, GT500, etc.)

Yea last week I went to the strip and ran a [email protected] Then by the end of the day I started getting worse ([email protected]). This is with about an hour between runs. Even though im on the 9.55 lower, I probably wont run much faster as the fuel that's available to me is crap.

Over the winter I may hit you up for some upgrades :) Looking at things I can take care of by myself here and not worry about reliability too much. Im think a Cam upgrade would be a bit of a job for me to handle (did the pulley myself). But i think i need to go with a HE, injectors, extras? I'd like to be in the low 600s daily driven.

That HX and some great injectors would certainly help. The cam is a bit of a install into the center of the motor, yes.
