This is exactly the type we made the rule for.

I will label this type as a "TAKER". The purpose of this community is giving and taking.

Personally takers are greedy and self centered and when the 30/50 rule hits them in the pocketbook for not being able to sell parts or their cars, they rain down on the moderators.

There is no excuse to be greedy on this forum. This by far is the most generous helpful forum out there. The V2 was matured because of this forum. There is not too much undiscovered territory left on the V2.

It saddens me at the drop off in membership quality as the V2 prices have dropped, I expect more from the NEWBS!

This "me me me" newb attitude is unfortunate and extremely disappointing to those who paved the way here.

Have some respect for the rules instead of pissing and whining.

I promise that I'll try harder, Larry.

I joined the forum right after I locked up the purchase. I started asking questions immediately and contributed where I could. I'll add that there are plenty of entertaining sections on this site where CTS-V knowledge is not a prerequisite.

Employers nearly always have a probationary period after hiring. I don't see why a website should be any different. The whole concept is that we're a group of like-minded enthusiasts who should support one another... so quit bitching about the 50 post minimum and get actively involved.

Leach? Don't know about that. Have 13k+ posts (and vast majority technical contributions) on another car forum.

By the way, I just saw my intro post in the New Member forum got deleted without a word of explanation.
You know exactly why it was deleted, do you really need your hand held with yet another warning and explanation?

For someone who claims to be a forum veteran you certainly are not getting it.

So do the mods a favor and don't break the rules again.

Just scanned this thread.
Friend of mine is selling his V, but he isn't a member of the forums.
Can I post for him here?
No

Mods had to delete two posts today. We get it that you are more savvy than the OP when it comes to market value of all listings in the classifieds.

Instead of boasting about your knowledge of the value in the thread, tell your significant other, as I’m sure she would be much more appreciative of your superior intellect than a bunch of car clowns trying to sell their car and the moderator team trying to debate how long the violators vacations should be.
