Change or stay with what I have.

Need input. I know that some people have changed changed brake rotors to 15" rears or that one with weird edge..I'm not going go that route. I have R1 slots with EBC Red Stuff. I've been happy with the braking and dust, or lack of, produced, other than an occasional brake squeak from them (pad depth is good)..and they were seated in well, 15-20k miles ago. Pads and rotors are going to need to be swapped out in another 5k-10k miles so I thought I would take advantage Black Friday/Thanksgiving sales this weekend. Looking for info to share with me about changing to Power Stops, or some other combo, or staying with R1s. Thanks in advance.

Carbon/Ceramic rotors or pads? Saw "Centric" but don't know who they are.

Nah I had them before going to the R1s. Sticking with the slots.

I have the R1 Geomet slotted rotors and I'm happy with them except for some rust on the hat. My Hawk HPS pads are getting close and I will need to replace by the spring. They are good, but I'm starting to look at options. It sounds like you are happy with the EBC Redstuff. Any thoughts on the EBC (ceramic) vs Hawk (semi metallic)?

I have been happy with the Porterfield R4-S. They dust about 30% of what the stock pads did.

I'm happy with EBC Red but the annoying occasional squeal I "think" comes from them.

Right now the R1 Geomets are on back order for rears.
