They should put an LT5 on ethanol in a 5th gen Camaro. That is basically what Dodge is doing here. Pretty cool nonetheless

Well, admittedly the best of all time claim is up for debate, but this car is certainly the most capable from factory. 😀
Dealer people are saying these are routinely going for $100k OVER sticker.

OP, you can have my allocation. :😀

MSRP sold orders get priority build scheduling. How many of those do you think will actually happen? 🤣
NHRA says no go, no roll cage and other safety equipment.

3000 for the US and 300 for Canada

I didn't mean total production, I just meant how many will actually be sold at MSRP (not bullshit ADM) and therefore be given priority build slots.

Kuniskis originally said the production numbers would only be limited by supplier constraints, but I see that even the Dodge website now says a max of 3000/300.

Oh okay. Well in that case, I would guess less than 100 will sell at MSRP.

I can confirm one in my area already sold at $120k over sticker, cash deal. Worst part is it'll probably never be driven.

How does this happen! If thieves can steal this car underneath their noses, then the average owners don't stand a chance in hell for protecting this vehicle.

- As piening2150 said below. This rumor is false. My apology for posting a false rumor.

For a modern car these things are very easy to steal.

Yeah, it is not worth the headache of owning a modern hemi powered vehicle. I know any car can be stolen if thieves want it bad enough, but I just feel like it just a matter of when not if someone eventually attempt to steal it.
Don't know if that video is true, but it's a problem with lots of FCA vehicles with push button start. Rams, Jeeps, Dodges, all pretty easy to steal with the right equipment. Many vehicles have been stolen right out of the assembly plant holding lots and from dealers.

You are right. This rumor is false. My apology for posting incorrect information.

That particular story may not have been real, but the easy theft problem is definitely real and they don't seem to have a viable solution for it (or don't care).
