Several months ago I read an article that stated due to Covid19 about 80% of Ethanol factories stopped production temporarily(or at idle i think) since demand decreased at such a fast rate.
Prices for fuel are high again, hopefully they come back down once things start to normalize. E85 used to be $1.99/gallon , now between $2.30-$2.60. My local station has also not had it available several times this year. But I checked again after a day or 2 and they had it...

I鈥檝e noticed a few stations out of E here in west Texas as well. Kinda had me worried for a bit I was below 1/4 tank and I start to have fuel starvation issues there. Luckily I limped into a Sunoco and they had some. Content has been low too at %75.
