Sure, if they do that in your area. You can also purchase your own for around $100 bucks. Having your own scanner would allow you to “clear” the code, drive the car and then see if it comes back. Re-scan, then start troubleshooting. When you get the code, there are many resources on the web that describe what it is referring to, then go from there.

I deleted my mufflers a few days ago and just now noticed the cell light is on?
Did you keep the mufflers? Often people do what you did, then decide to go back to stock mufflers (that work well) with headers and Cat deletes.

I didn’t keep them. I will be installing ARH with high flow cats.

Do you have catalytic converters?
Yes. I can’t believe deleting mufflers would throw a code it was just incidental and I’ve never experienced that on any of my other cars, but then I once put headers on a c6 and never threw a code. Anyway I bought a gizmo for the future.
