A bit pricy for what it is, but for those looking for pre-made pipes, bill boat exhaust makes them. Just got off the phone and he confirmed that he is currently making 2 sets for customers and could have a set out mid next week sometime.

Yea, sounds about right.

I would be surprised if It cost more than 200-250 to replicate those test pipes.

not sure on a V but on a F Body is sounds terrible because the air gets into that case and causes turbulence.

Evil can vouch for the horrendous sound of catless pipe with manifolds and so can I . I recently put b&b test pipes on with factory exhaust. There is a absolutely awful rasp at a given rpm. It's similar to a catless fbody with slp loud mouth but worse. My wife said she threw up when she heard my car....lol. Fighting with resonators now.

Yea, in this context cats are nothing more than a muffler/resonator - except they give the added risk of blowing out/melting and perhaps blowing your motor in the process. Just add enough muffler/resonator to replace them and all should be well.

not sure what 2 would have done, but 4 make it quieter than with the cats I think. i went from pictures rattling on the wall in my house when i started it in the garage without cats to almost not hearing it running.

Sounds like I will try 2 resonators first. I currently have the 'muffler delete' and want the noise level about the same, maybe a tad bit louder.

I Billy Boated my cats. Worked out good. had to wait for order, didnt mind. What about the Light on all the time? I paid a HPTunner to bypass the rear 02 and i Still get P0420 and P0430.
