Warning: Old thread revival: Cad attack 23... Now that I actually HAVE a car, I'm trying to see if it's possible for me to be able to go.
There is a lot I don't know and research starts here.
What sort of class structure do they run?
Safety requirements?
Cage required?
E85 availability?
all those things.

Not even certain about getting the needed time off...

Those who've attended, tell me about it.

Many different classes.

E85 isn't hard to get...but best to buy some away from the track area before you get there because lots of racers getting it can put a strain on nearby stations.

@Florida-Vee has run many times.

Looks like I could run in the All Out LS and the Blower King classes. Not sure about CSP 30” tire rule.
Since I’m not going to cage the car, not sure if I’ll even be able to do what I’d like to do
You could run in many classes...Are you on 15s?

Not sure if I'm reading it correctly but the first three classes are 1.9 blower max (I'm out) and the Super street has a 30" tire requirement which I don't meet.
Does a 30" tire even fit under the V (?)
I have 15s with 325/50-15 ET-Rs (28") tall
I don't currently have 17 or 19" Mickeys

Looks like these are available

LS All Out
Blower King
Manual class (200# add for 15" tires no ballast needed, unfortunately)

Of course, there are brackets, not a strong suit for a stick-shift, but still fun

I think the car is capable of getting into the 9s but (afaik) that would require a full fire suit and a cage.... or is that different at this event?
