Brembo question

Tried to search question because I'm sure its been asked, but couldn't find it.
I am looking to buy an 11-15 coupe. How do I know the car has Brembos other than the painted calipers? I have seen people list the car saying it had Brembos, but the calipers were plain.
When dealers/sellers list their cars, they don't list options very well so I have to rely on trying to look at pictures...
Thanks in advance!

If it is a "V", it should have Brembo's as that was the stock set up. You can also look at the calipers to see how many pistons they have. Should have 6 in front and 4 in rear.

Thanks PGA2B, it is hard to tell pistons from side pictures of the cars. So ALL V's have Brembos?!?!
Unless they got swapped out, yes.
The biggest tell is the diameter of the rotors. The Brembos on the V are 14.4" and just barely fit within the 19" wheels. If it had the standard NON-V brakes of a CTS, they have like an 11" rotor and a 15" wheel could fit over them. And you could toss a golf ball between the rotor and a 19" wheel.
The standard calipers on a '13 V are Brembos painted silver. The color could be red or yellow or maybe black depending on option pkg. If the calipers are unpainted... something is very wrong.
Thank for the replies, I was just unsure because some ads for the V's mention the Brembos and some do not. Just like if the car has Recaros, but that's easier to see!

So are these the smaller rotors? Has Brembo calipers, but smaller rotor?
This is from a 2011 V Coupe on eBay right now...

Those are the Brembos. And that is the correct rotor.
Here is a standard CTS brake caliper/rotor behind an 18" wheel. Much smaller.

Thanks for all the replies, I just need to know the car so I can buy the right one!
All Gen2 Vs came with the same Brembo brakes and the paint color of the calipers could have been one of four colors... but the brakes were all the same.

Thanks!

While I was able to weld the wheel back together, putting the tire back together was more challenging than I originally thought. 🤷‍♂️ 😉🤣

I know of silver, red, and yellow. What’s the fourth?

Without proof, I seem to recall black used on some but I may be confusing generations
I know my coupe has silver. Not sure I’ve ever seen black
V2 only has option codes for Red and Yellow. The Silver color is standard and there's no code associated with that one. Black or Blue etc was never offered from the manufacturer as far as I know.
