So I want to start fixing my car up but I need some help on what parts I should add first or what parts are best. Only thing I got on now is DSX lid. I have the big gulp but haven’t installed cause I figured if ima tune it might as well get as much parts in and tune together. Also have a ARH catback ordered hopefully will get here soon. Besides what I have, I want to know what’s next and what’s best? TIA

(46) V2 ---- MODS LIST ---- DYNO NUMBERS (UPDATED) | Cadillac CTS-V Forum (ctsvowners.com)

This thread right here has all of everyone's upgrades and how much horse power they make. Should tell you everything you need. Good luck.
Supra, thanks brother that’s a big help.
Not sure how much there is on there for v3 though. It’s predominantly V2

Yeah that list is of little help - totally different motor/car, wrong forum.

Your best reference is the V3 Fast List sticky on the top of the page.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a lot of mod data for a V3 yet, nor do many people (overall) have extensive mods, hence the lack of activity on this channel. This is often the story with many pricey enthusiast cars - its not until they are >5yrs old that the price comes down enough for the modding crowd to get ahold of them as 2nd/3rd/4th owners. V3's are too new, too nice, and too under-warranty for the masses to get their horsepower-seeking fingers on just yet.
Umm, it’s mostly due to the fuel system complexity with the LT4 and direct injection, to be honest.

Don't the C7Z and ZR1 have the same fuel system in their LT4's? Lots of modding going on in their forums
The way to go is to add port injection and enough low side fuel. Don’t touch the DI stuff or high side because port can do it all and cheaper

I don't have a dog in this fight but Chris Crawford has some awesome custom DI solutions for those platforms.

Look him up........

I guess I meant in the long run for big power.
Depends on your goals.

They can pick up good power with the right mods.

Obviously having good fuel, E85, or meth injection is a huge help on these as well as any boosted platform, but E85 run into issues with fueling and some people arent huge about meth kits like myself.

Personally, my goal was to keep the car feeling like a caddy, no headers, and being able to run on pump 93. I also didnt want to go crazy with pulley and have to do any kinda of crazy cooling mods.

I had LMP of maryland do a port on my blower (similar to kong X), 2.3 upper, rotofab big gulp, and 102mm throttle body was just added.

I street tune the car so I cant really say exactly what it picked up, but the car feels like it picked up 100+ whp easily and is an animal now.

Ive seen peak boost figures 16-18 psi~ from the stock 10-11ish.

Ive had 60-130 times in the 6.5-7.0 range with this setup which should be good for bottom 10s maybe even 9s with a great 60 foot...but ive also seen cars that make 800whp run worse 60-130 times than me, a good tune is also KEY on a gen V Gm car.

So long story short, id say consider a kong X port and 2.3 upper combo on the car as well as a good tune as your next move
