I had a 2010 TG V sedan back in 2013, really loved that car, it was also my wife's favorite "fun car" that I have owned. I moved onto a 2010 CG ZR1, then right as Covid hit I sold the ZR1 and bought a 2010 GTR (1300whp). In the peak of the used car market going crazy I listed the GTR for 20k more than I bought it for and it sold in 24 hours. I actually waited a bit, watching the market, and a few weeks ago flew to Chicago from Memphis and drove back in my new to me 2012 DW V Wagon. I've have a strange thing for performance wagons, the V wagon being my favorite. The car is heads/cam/intake/catback/ported blower/upper and lower pullies/ZL1 lid/ID850's/full Squash fuel system/flex fuel/IC pump. Inside is stock except for an Aeroforce gauge. It has stock size Toyo R888r's out back. Plans for the car are to get it paint corrected, ceramic coated and front ppf. Then headers, cutouts, NW tb and a larger 5" intake. Eventually it will get forged and stroked, a Kong 2650 and small shot of gas. It's sitting in the low 700whp range right now, with 900-1000 being the eventual goal.

I like your tastes. And the Gtr/Prius pose is great!

Congrats, and welcome home!

The GTR was completely ridiculous. Full weight, 20" wheels, Toyo R888r's, ran [email protected], 60-130 in 3.5 and 100-150 in 3.1. Walked away from liter bikes. Never once had a close race. As for the Prius, my wife had a silver one with almost 300k on it when we were dating, we gave it to one of our kids a few years ago and it's still running. I told her you can have whatever you want...she picks another Prius lmao. Can you image going from the GTR to the Prius!?! I have a few other cars, my DD is a C43 with a JB4, runs consistent 11.90's, also a DW Yukon Denali, and a pristine 2008 Imperial Blue Metallic TBSS 3SS awd.

Who built the GTR?
The original owner of the GTR was Super Bowl winning running back Brandon Jacobs. He put 135k into the car at AMS in Chicago. It was an 1180whp Alpha 12 with a Shep stage 5 trans when I bought it. I sent it to Tim Lynch in Atlanta, he rebuilt the motor, Boost Lab rebuilt the turbos and Dat Le at The Sauce Shop updated the trans to Stage 5+. It came back around 1300whp on E85 at 41psi. I updated the entire fuel system to a full Radium brushless set up myself. Brandon at Cicios tuned it to perfection. It drove perfectly and you could putt around in it with the a/c on. Fun car, but expensive to work on.

Nice sounding car.
We have some GTR around here that are to the next level.
I stay away from them.

Love the car collection.

Have you considered using the DDP intake instead of a 5"
Nice setup on the GTR. Did a ton of stuff with them back around 2012-2014 range. Great cars. Will add one to the stable eventually
Nice car and one hell of a past lineup.

Something weird about the wagon combo is the full fuel system with 850 injectors? This has me scratching my head wondering if the past owner swapped injectors before selling the car or maybe never ran the car on e85?

I was told it made 730 to the wheels on E, so about as far as you want to go with 850’s. I plan on replacing with ID1300’s.

I have actually never heard of it and just looked it up. Is it different from the RPM 5” intake? With all the other work done to the car, a bigger intake, TB, injectors, and headers just makes sense.

they have come down in price and there are some pretty good deals right now. If I buy another one it will be 900-1000hp and stay there. My next car will most likely be a McLaren.
Yes the DDP is different than the 5" it various in diameter. Its not a set size as it opens up more. I believe it starts at 6" at the filter and transitions to 4.5 at the MAF. DDP did a bunch of computer design in airflow to make it work the way it does. Ive seen two different versions. Standard and Race. Standard is for the 103mm TB and the Race is for the 112mm TB if I remember correctly. Although I dont see his Race on his website, I've seen V's with them on here.

Lots of the High HP cars are running DDP.

Look around post 520 in A Seriously Surly Coupe where he asks between the 5", DDP, and another intake. Specially responses from tuner on which intake.
The DDP 112 is a special order piece (I mean so is the 103, but he sometimes has “stock” on the 103.)
I have DDP 112and it is a very impressive product.
I don’t know if any A-B testing of the 112 but testing of his 103 showed that his design beat ALL. the popular CAIs
I’m sold, thanks for the info.
