In the interest of keeping this forum focused on the V series, I'll ask first to judge real interest from long time members.

If not I'll post my thoughts elsewhere. Also want to respect forum rules and guidelines.

Been taking notes since delivery on all aspects of the car, including:
Delivery experience
Fit and Finish
First week of ownership
Performance thoughts (w/Dragy data to back it up)
Driving differences of EV vs gas cars
Overall impressions, usability, functionality

I'll commit to being candid and honest about the good, bad, and ugly. And I for damn sure trust you guys to call BS when appropriate.

Let me know if there are other topics/areas you'd like covered...

If only there were a sub category of this forum where upon people could discuss OTHER VEHICLES besides V's...
Or do what I do and discuss your other vehicle in every single post possible.
Tri, I say absolutely give us a honest review.

Unavowed has been talking for years about his non-V.

Would you consider doing a tug of war with an F150??

I mostly want you to gut it, install lightweight wheels and sticky tires, turn off traction control, and troll the shit out of people on the street.

It trolls ok stock. 21's, 42psi in the skinny stock tires.

2.41 secs on a rough road with zero effort really.

2.58 without the 1ft rollout.

Had a little wheelspin so with lighter wheels and sticky rubber I think 2.3x is doable. You can see the wheelspin in the acceleration line right after launch where it flattens out a good bit.

580kw peak power = 778hp.

I'd be interested. I'm sure you would call it as it is.
Plus, I could use some toilet reading material.

The more I see the CT, the worse it gets. It’s not a design that grows on you. It’s that bad.

Yes - same battery, motors, and powertrain as the S. Its heavier so not quite as fast but will still do 0-60 in under 3 seconds, maybe 2.7 on a good day

Interior of the S and X are same - cream/charcoal/dark wood trim. We are still waiting on the dark trim for the X. Will snap some pics in the daylight tomorrow. But it's basically like this photo, but will have the darker wood not this light ash/oak.

Here's the S with the trim already swapped...(guess it decided to go at the end of this post?)

Re: Next best thing: that news broke after we had ordered these. So yeah - I'll keep my eyes out for whatever comes along. But these are damn fast and functional for now. The space you have with no engine, gas tank, drive shaft, and other bits is insane. Will include that in more detail in the full write up.

Yeah - wife's car so she picked the color she wanted. And I'm ok with the white - easier for me to keep clean!

Yeah that light wood is hideous, the dark wood is much better.

Tri, these Tesla's might be fast, but your typical kill stories wont have the same effect as the whale did. They will just seem to be limp-wristed...

Definitely interested in seeing pics of your new S with some forgelines though!
