2019 - CUE Touchscreen Section Unresponsive

836 Views 7 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  RooKie55
Ok folks, I have a 2019 CTS-V and the CUE system screen has about a 3” x 3” section that is unresponsive no matter how hard/soft you press. I have an appointment in a week and a half at the Stealership; however I was looking to see if anyone here has had this happen before.

YouTube Video Link:

I can find many instances where the screen has locked up on people and they “Hard Reset” but I cannot seem to find anything about only PART of the screen being unresponsive.

Known issues.
You can replay the overlay I believe, if you're willing to tackle it.
Or if warranty covers, let them deal with it. No shortage of threads about the CUE system

Thanks for the reply. The CUE system was the ONLY downfall getting this car. We borrowed a friends 2019 Escalade and it was a pain in my @ss... but the CTS-V aside from that is incredible in my mind... so I am just gonna do what everyone else on here does and live with it.

I will update after the stealership diagnoses and informs me as to whether its covered under warranty. The screen isn't scratched/cracked/broken, so hopefully its something they can order and swap out for me.
If it is out of pocket check out Post #2. Have you tried the hard reset? What's to lose?

I have not tried the hard reset. I’ve only owned the car for 2 days (I’m a Cadillac Noob).

Do you have a YouTube link or a post link describing the steps?
No, I don't. As they say, Google is your friend, lol.

One other thing, you might want to check out Cadillac Forums (.com). They have an extensive Forum on Cue with tons of info. Good luck.
