So this is my first rodeo with all this.
I have had nothing but issues with the tuning??
Keep in mind it’s 10-20 degrees in KY right now
Last couple nights I have had misfires, then engine light stays on. All temps are good.
Went to dinner last night came out to start and car half running in limp mode. Turned on and off 3 times, finally started normal drive home. I am having a really hard time describing what it’s doing.
I have never had the car in a track.
The transmission shifting and lagging in normal driving is bad will not down shift like it should instead it wants to Boost in that gear.
Sometimes it won’t shift properly under power.
Backfiring etc
Should I have this car turned back to 93 octane??
car was Dyno tuned. Last pull was 875hp and 910ft lbs of Torque on E85.
I realize summer be Winter Blends are different.
This has been going on for a while.
It’s an hour one way every time There is an issue.
The shop I use, they mainly work in Vettes, Camaros etc and are fantastic people and do amazing work.
They use a mobile tuner who extremely experienced.
What am I missing and why do I continue to have issues?
Current build:
Upper and lower pulleys
BTR stage 2 Cam 38% fuel lobe.
hardened push rods, TI spring kit
American racing Headers and xpipe
Ported blower sent off to Kong
Katech 103mm throttle body
Flex fuel kit
Roto fab big gulp intake
Lower boost pump
Alki control Methanol pump
TCM unlocked
Mighty Mouse catch can
