Sold my truck to them recently. Their algorithm does weird stuff sometimes and it also depends on if they need your particular vehicle at that time. I would get a quote on my truck every couple weeks towards the end of the lease. Anywhere from $34k-42k depending. Here's someone who sold a Honda Fit to them for crazy $$ due to the algorithm.Anyone had any luck selling to Carvana? I had them price two vehicles and they were the worst of all offers. Not even close on a reasonable offer, must be the technowizardry.
All vehicle prices are nuts right now...still...after 2 years. My truck was $46k sticker, bought it for $32k, sold it to Carvana after 2 years and 19k miles for $39k, they sold it quickly for $42k. It's one of the reasons I'm just going to drive my old beater for a year or so and see if prices come back down to Earth.$78k?! I bought my loaded '17 CPO for that much in '18 with 6500mi on it. They're NUTS!
That Fit story was an interesting read. Yeah I bet it’s like that still. No way would I sign over a title before being paid in full (the guy did that before check cleared). A robot bought my seven-year-old car for more than I paid brand-new
At Carvana, the algorithm is king.www.theverge.com

they won’t , think this will be a slow process or this may be a long term market correction of sorts. It's one of the reasons I'm just going to drive my old beater for a year or so and see if prices come back down to Earth.
I hope sooner rather than later. I miss driving a fun car, but I refuse to pay inflated prices for one. Just have to keep my eyes peeled for a decent deal. I know they're still out there, just much harder to find.they won’t , think this will be a slow process or this may be a long term market correction of sorts
in spring 2020 I thought the same thing , 2 years later no signs of improvement
Dodge has a plan. Whether that results in actual sales and enthusiast acceptance remains to be seen.yeah Dodge is going to have to figure something out as it seems their sales tactic of stuffing the same big engines in everything is coming to an end
