I like it and would own it in a second. Right now I'm enjoying my V2, but will definitely pick up a V3 one day. I love that the rear brake calipers are Brembo stock, not an upgrade.

Anyone had any luck selling to Carvana? I had them price two vehicles and they were the worst of all offers. Not even close on a reasonable offer, must be the technowizardry.
Sold my truck to them recently. Their algorithm does weird stuff sometimes and it also depends on if they need your particular vehicle at that time. I would get a quote on my truck every couple weeks towards the end of the lease. Anywhere from $34k-42k depending. Here's someone who sold a Honda Fit to them for crazy $$ due to the algorithm.

All vehicle prices are nuts right now...still...after 2 years. My truck was $46k sticker, bought it for $32k, sold it to Carvana after 2 years and 19k miles for $39k, they sold it quickly for $42k. It's one of the reasons I'm just going to drive my old beater for a year or so and see if prices come back down to Earth.

That Fit story was an interesting read. Yeah I bet it’s like that still. No way would I sign over a title before being paid in full (the guy did that before check cleared). Right on though!

they won’t , think this will be a slow process or this may be a long term market correction of sorts

in spring 2020 I thought the same thing , 2 years later no signs of improvement

I hope sooner rather than later. I miss driving a fun car, but I refuse to pay inflated prices for one. Just have to keep my eyes peeled for a decent deal. I know they're still out there, just much harder to find.

I see two major forces at work here that are unrelated and ONE of them might change.
1. Semiconductor shortage due to our over-reliance on foreign makers
2. PERFORMANCE cars specifically are seen as directly facing extinction due to political/governmental action.

Number 1 could go away, given the right combination of efforts by the industries impacted. If chip manufacturing were to suddenly ramp up (as is rumored to happen) then the shortage goes away; all the vast quantities of new cars waiting on chips start pouring into dealerships, suddenly new cars are everywhere, new car prices fall, USED car prices bottom out in record fashion.
However, number 2 could be independent of this as their fate continues to be sealed... in fact given the EPA's efforts, their fate is ever-more at risk.

yeah Dodge is going to have to figure something out as it seems their sales tactic of stuffing the same big engines in everything is coming to an end
Dodge has a plan. Whether that results in actual sales and enthusiast acceptance remains to be seen.
