Press the actuator/trunk button again so it'll allow you to close without slamming.The truck has always closed and latched easily. Now it has to be slammed to latch. Is there a fix for this?

So I suppose the part I am getting will work because it does not require any drilling...just 3M and some heavy-duty adhesive glue stuff...I'm guessing that the trunk for the spoiler has holes in it for the spoiler, that the trunk for a regular CTS does not.
the trunk is the same but the light is different which stands to reason a standard cts spoiler may not fit a V modelQuick question...
Are the 2012 CTS V trunk and CTS trunk different? Asking because I am getting a rear spoiler and it seems to be model specific

Same width and footprint in relation to the trunk panel. Same mounting holes. Different height and angle from horizontal.the light is different
