So I’m wanting to do a rebuild on my supercharger this winter. Does anybody have any good recommendations on who to purchase the bearings and stuff from?

The SC was rebuilt February of 21 by a reputable shop, fully ported and polished, and its only seen high boost maybe a hand full of times. But it sounds like the SC has that slight marble noise coming from it?

I figured I’d take care of it now before it possibly gets worse.

You sure it doesn’t just need a solid isolator? Common problem but I would assume they added one when they rebuilt it.

What karch said. When I was looking to have mine rebuilt everyone pointed me to superchargers online as they are the only authorized Eaton dealer. Karch can probably do it with his eyes closed. Just have to find a pistol he wants in trade 😂

I would remove jokerz from that list. They fucked up on my rebuild by installing the bearings incorrectly and the snout shaft bearing cocked which cost me $1200 for a new snout and another rebuild. Thankfully the dealership I bought the car from stepped up and covered the cost (they sent it to jokerz for rebuild before I bought the car) but Brett left them out to dry and didn’t stand behind or warranty his work.

You are leaving out A LOT of the story.. Jokerz has a solid name in this platform and I think the whole story is owed to him on this.. Slamming a vendor without revealing the whole story is not right.

I do not believe Jokerz is a vendor on this forum.

The only thing I’m leaving out are the emails I have from Brett talking in circles trying to dance around the fact that the work was done incorrectly and the snout needed to be replaced. I’m not slamming anyone, I’m simply stating cold hard facts. We actually couldn’t even believe that jokers did the work because it was so wrong.
So for those who are on the fence deciding who to use for rebuild, sure use jokers, but do so at your own risk.

Also, last time I checked this forum is for car enthusiasts to share information and experiences with aftermarket parts and companies, good or bad. This helps everyone make informed decisions who to spend their hard earned cash with.

And vendor/sponsor here or not, if a customer is relaying facts of what happened, good or bad, they shouldn't be censored
My point exactly, state all the facts.. Not saying anything should be censored. I know if I have a warranty issue with a purchase, I'm going back to who I bought it from not another shop/person..

I have two ZL1's one with a supercharger that is fully ported with a Nick Williams 103 TB and the other not ported with a 90 mm TB both have the solid coupler. I noticed the noise that you are possibly speaking of more so after my cars get warm, however I noticed the noise is more faint on the none ported charger but the same noise, Livernois did the ported charger and we determine that due to a lot of metal being removed from the ported charger it is easier to hear the internal noises (harmonics) from the ported charger now, they removed well over 5 pounds of metal from the snout and supercharger together. I am not certain if this is what you are hearing but could be possible due to less metal insulating your blower now. The ported blower car has only 912 miles and the non-ported car have 832 miles.
