I did a one pull and drove the car normal and the temp stayed at 193-196 it goes up and down it’s 60 degree in Cali , is that normal ? Or shoudl I be worried about my trans ? Thanks

I just wanted to make sure and ask experts on here lol I’m going to ls fest west in April and I’m driving from Los Angeles to Vegas don’t wanna stay stranded or stay on neutral lol
80-100c is fine for the tranny ( 176f to 212f ) i think they have a warning around the 120c 248f and reduce power to help cool them down, ideal is if u can keep it within the 176-212f range

The car has 50k OG miles it’s an 10 sedan , the dealer flushed it previous owner at 39k and then I flushed it again did all new fluids all around

Well it sounds like everything should move and flow properly with a couple of clean flushes under your belt, not having years of gunk build-up causing operational issues and overheating. It's amazing all the internals of a automatic compared to a manual. Flow is important to both types. But I feel cleaner fluid is even more critical with automatics, not just a pull plugs/drain/fill process. Really gotta flush it out clean!

I'm running RP Synchromax with good results. I live in the Pacific North West, so weather is never a factor keeping temps down as compared to some other places, plus I have a modified external oil cooler. My fluid is usually 100*F-115*F if I'm driving hard.
