Just replaced the rear passenger side shock, anyone happen to have the torque specs? Also, I read you can't reuse the bottom bolt or top nuts, is that right?

I dont have the torque specs but I wanted to say GM considers a ton of their hardware torque to yield. Most of it can just be reused with blue locktite. You need to get ahold of a factory service manual.

Top nuts can be re-used and tighten to 32 lb ft.


Bottom bolt is technically a single use fastener:

• First Pass: 100 Y (74 lb ft)
• Final Pass: plus 105 degrees

Many of us have reused the TTY shock bolts with the Carlyle stabilizer arm kit. No issues. Loctite & done.
