1.7 BLOWER LIFE EXPECTANCY

Bone stock, no mods, occasional blast on the interstate. How many miles untill rebuild/replace on this unit?? THANKS YALL, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

If you have a 1.9, you would probably last 200000 miles. I have no idea how long a 1.7 would go.

208,000 miles on my V2. As I read these posts I guess it was the 1.7. I never modded it. Modding any car leads to problem solving, which is fine as long as one likes problem solving. Same set of circumstances as yours. I was redlining until I sold it without concern. A quick 140 to 160 on occasion.

Someone on this forum has 300,000+ miles on his. It would be interesting to know if he is on his first supercharger.
I have 307000 on my V. The blower was replaced at 90k. Due to isolator recall.

Mine has a 2.5 pulley since new.
I plan to replace the isolator this spring - 14K on a 2012 Wagon - $60.00 part and easy install - good insurance against supercharger failure...
