I recently bought a 2003 base model CTS from a friend, that blew up back in 2010, for $500. It was garage kept and I am going to throw an LS/T56 in it. I have bought a front subframe to house the motor and a Gen2 rear subframe so I can swap to a stronger differential. I am going to run a TerminatorX on a turbocharged LM7. I haven’t found too much info on the swap so I plan on posting updates every step of the way.

update 4/11
I got a 2005 CTS-v front subframe. At first I was pissed because it was identical besides the location of the ABS controller, which I plan on deleting any way. As I was cleaning it up and removing the sway bar I noticed that the motor mount holes were double walled and had a steel cylinder welded in vertically. As I mentioned, it came with a sway bar that was beefier too. I cut the ABS mount off and I am going to clean it up and install it tomorrow.
