Hey V family. Need a little advice on a good aftermarket exhaust system for my ‘14 V. Looking for something a little more aggressive, meaner…….besides the stock. I noticed that the previous owner cut a section of the pipe and welded a smaller diameter pipe in place. And the bracket where the smaller pipe is connected continuously brakes, which causes a rattling noise. Just wondering if I need to change entire system or add/subtract something from the stock. Thanks.

Sedan, Wagon, Coupe ? Might need to specify that.
Can't speak for the other two, but on Coupe LTs and full 3in catless to stock muffler, you can hardly notice it over stock.
Problem going with full exhaust and aftermarket mufflers is that it might be too loud after that.
Something like TX speed m8ght work for you.

I have stainless works going into stock mufflers. There have been complaints on here in the past about SW fittment issues but they were perfect for me. I think in general having the fit into stock mufflers is good kooks or whatever. It also depends what you want. But I do know people that did a full exhaust and regretted the excessive noise. If you pipe to stock you could always decide later to replace the stock muffler if it is not enough for you.
