solution for V2 rear diff noise

Whats up guys, I joined a couple months ago, this is my first post. As many people on here my v2 started to make a growling noise in the back, relative to speed and load, the gear whine, passenger side seal leaking, all symptoms my car had. From my experience I knew it had to be aither a pinion bearing, or carrier bearing. I started digging through forums to get some info about this noise. Personally i think tgat failure is due to poor oil quality, or incorrect filling level from gm. From what I picked up, either they would be replaced, gm eould pay a small percentage, parts are unavailable, etc... Nobody had a solution because according to techs at gm it was unserviceable. Last Saturday I decided to just bring the diff down and tear it apart. What i found was broken down carrier bearings and races. Bearings and races were pitted, that caused bearing play, that lead to increased backlash which caused the whining sound. Once i had the diff out of the case, taking the races out was a challenge, since the diff wasnt designed to be repaired. Nothing a good toolbox cant handle. Here are some pics.

Gotta agree, this is stellar 1st post material, thank you and welcome.

I know if my Diff shit a bearing, I have a local diff shop that I would give them a shot and rebuilding it.

I doubt the Ring and pinion are replaceable, but bearings should be serviceable.

Thanks guys, if anyone has any questions about this little project feel free to ask. I realized I posted this up in the wrong area I typed this up during breakfast, on top of that I've never posted anything in any forum.
