    Steering wheel alllllllll jacked up.

Backing out and turning from of my driveway. Hear a loud pop and my steering is like this while driving straight.

Stabilitrak turns off, service stabilitrak message comes on. Car drives straight and true. Drives fine.

Take it to the shop to get it figured out. Local goodyear place that did the alignment 2 weeks ago says they can't figure it out. Camber was waaay out on passenger front and not enough adjustment to get in spec.

They get the steering wheel centered and as close to camber specs as possible.

Get a mile down the road and BAM this happens.

Same thing except wheel is going to the right. WTF? Lol. Some have said its the lower control arm bolts shifted. What do yall think. I got a recommendation for a different alignment guy that I am gonna try next week. Looking for input on what would cause this.

Are your headers making contact with the steering shaft?

I don't think so but I'll go check right now.

It's does not appear so. A good 1/4" clearance between the headers and the shaft. No rub marks that I can see.

Read that one. I'm hoping its just a matter of proper torque for the LCA bolts.

If you have a 1/4 inch space, better lower your engine for more clearance...

On another note, check the frame links that are bolted underneath...

It is the lower control arms where they bolt up to the frame. You really have to tighten the bolts when adjusting the caster and camber. The light is on due to the steering wheel position sensor, will need to be reset/centered and then clear the codes.

Car is sabotaging you. It wants you to subconsciously turn the wheel straight and crash. Must hate you so much that it is willing to end itself to be free of you........

Haha a little. I'm just glad you're alive. No response in twelve hours. I thought it actually happened and you hit a bus full of orphans driven by nuns. I would have felt really shitty not knowing how to get a hold of your wife to buy the parts left over from your car....

I had the same thing happen to me twice doing an alignment at a local place. Once the same thing happened the second time I went to the dealer and had them realign the car. No issues after. The Caddy dealer here charges 89.95 for an alignment, 10 bucks more than the other place.

That 10 bucks is for those extra foot pounds that actually hold the LCAs in place.

Control arm bolt was loose. How the fuck the last guy didn't catch it is beyond me. Hopefully everything will stay tight. Maybe I'll get a chance to beat on it this evening...... The car you cunts, beat on the car.

Bringing my car into the local alignment shop next week and i want to make sure everything is torqued to spec afterwards, can anyone confirm what the specs are front/rear?? thought i remember seeing somewhere around 150 ft/lbs front and 200ish rear?? Going to run as close to 0 on camber as i can for decent front tire wear and best hookup out back.
