6 mph slower and 2 tenths faster. I guess that means it fell on its face on the top end?
60 foot was pretty much identical as I'm still learning to launch it. IIRC it was a 1.8 I started low and worked my way up to a 3000 rpm launch. It stuck and didn't bog. First time on new MT et SS

I hot lapped my car like 12 to 15 times my first time out. 675whp or thereabouts and only had Ben's track attack HX and a pump upgrade. 90F ambient and by the time I reached the start it was back to 110 to 113F IAT2.

One thing I did was coast the full length of the strip after crossing the line and kept the car moving at 40 to 45mph as much as I could back around to the staging lanes. Didnt let the car idle while waiting. Shut off...sit. move up, shut off again. Left AC off as well. Worked out ok on the IAT front. My tuner was coincidentally at the track that night and was surprised by how well the IATs held up...

If you don't mind me asking. What pump are you running to get such good results? How did you route your lines?

Jeez, that doesnt sound right to me. yea, IATs getting high will slow you down but if you only hit 145 at the end of the run, you should have still had full timing for most of the track and theres no way you should be down 6 mph from stock...i mean hitting 145 at the end is really nothing, should only be pulling a degree or two at the most there, some tuners push it up so it doesnt pull anything til 150 even.

Not sure what you were at stock but shoulda been 113-114 area, with the extra 100 rwhp, into the 120-125 mph range id say?

What was the trap speed with the mods?

First time at track 12.2 at 118. Mods at time were headers and airraid and I'm sure a tune. I bought it that way.
After mods below 12.0 at 112 60 ft was almost identical
And yes from what I could see it got up to 2.5 degrees of total timing pulled.

I just went back and checked from the time I started in 3rd gear I was at 140 so a lot of the run was affected. I think the car being a stick should go mid to high 11's. Sound about right?

No shot of me getting this squared away by then. Still working on a direction for a total cooling revamp. Shooting for the beginning of Dec.
I just have dashboss and didn't have any knock retard.

stupid question but, is your pump working? also what kind of pump are you using now? also x2 on who your tuner is? theres now way that even without ice you're trapping that low.

I highly doubt that jabsco is moving enough water to keep up with the demand.

SO are you saying you started a 1/4 mile race in 3rd gear?? This would explain everything if so.

Your car with over 600 RWHP should be in the high 10's. You are about 15 MPH slow on the big end and off by about 2 full seconds. I dont think its cooling issues.

No I was saying I hit 140 degrees about the same time I shifted into 3rd. Meaning 3rd gear on it was pulling timing.

He has a manual wagon, mid 11s would be a more reasonable target, he's not going 10s with a manual wagon at that power level.

Yea..but 2.5 degrees still shouldnt slow it down that much.

Hard to say without having logs of the runs but seems off.

I mean with the new mods I would think the car should be trapping more like 125mph range....even with the IAT issues, id still think it should be doing 120+

Yea..but 2.5 degrees still shouldnt slow it down that much.

Hard to say without having logs of the runs but seems off.

I mean with the new mods I would think the car should be trapping more like 125mph range....even with the IAT issues, id still think it should be doing 120+
not to go too off topic, but you went 10.1 with 627?

I've been trying to get to PBIR for a while now. I was in a private track rental that got postponed 3 times for rain and finally canceled. I am planning to go dec. 2nd. Hoping to have an icebox, zl1 lid and pump in by then. Especially after reading this post. Where/when are these gtg?
