Adding Playlists to Hard Drive Audio

Figured out how to add songs. There are various ways, but I ultimately burned my iTunes library as a data disk onto a 50gb flash drive and plugging it in through armrest I now have all my music in the car. This is awesome, but how do you get playlists on there? Can I create them from the car library? Do I add them via USB? Someone with some experience please chime in!

    Thanks forum!

I don't use playlists so I can't speak to that, but the entire hard drive is only 40GB so there's no way you're going to fit 50GB on it. I added songs via USB. Most guys let it load on accessory mode overnight. I was too scared to do that so I waited until I went on a long trip and let it work the whole time I was driving.

is there a trick to getting the songs on the hard drive without it sorting it for you?
kind of annoying to have it put live and contniuous albums in alphabetical order ruining the whole thing

31mb were on the flash drive. It fit. As for sorting, if your ID3 Tags are good it will sort by artist, album etc.

    So... Playlist anyone?

when song is playing, push playlist button on screen then hold the number on the bottom of the screen.

This works? I'm not near my car right now to try. How many playlists an you create and how do you access them?

6 playlists total. when you're in HDD mode, just push the menu select button and turn knob to playlists. push button again then turn knob to scroll thru playlists. push button again to select a specific song in the playlist.
