    rear brake screech

I have a full set of v1 brakes on my caprice, (hawk hp+ pads up front, stock acdelco pads on the rear) and after a few weeks of driving my rears have developed a loud screech under "normal" braking. (doesnt seem to happen under really heavy braking, or if i touch the brakes veeeeery lightly it doesn't make the sound)

I'm not sure what could be causing it since the brakes are so new, maybe i didn't grease enough, or something caught in the pads.

related question, are the pins reusable? I'd hate to knock them out and then have to wait for new ones if they don't re-seat

V2 isn't very lively around here, is it?

Dynamatting the whole rear seat and parcel shelf helped inside the car, but the screech is really bad when the brakes are cold

At least does anyone know if the pins are reusable?

If they are metallic pads try reversing and using heavy braking three or four times in a row. If there are any little metallic pieces causing the screech this many help break them off.
