Ran my 2012 M6 wagon for the first time today and was way less than impressed. Car is bone stock, 22,000 miles with an Airraid. Just had a new supercharger installed at the dealer under the GM recall.
My best run was:
R/T: .001
60ft: 2.0
ET: 13.0
MPH: 108
The car ran 109mph a couple time in the morning when it was around 75F outside, but never managed a better trap speed. This doesn't seem normal. The car isn't throwing any codes or anything. What is going on here?
Stock tune, maybe high IAT's. I think stock is 115.

I should also note there was one other CTSV at the track today but it was an auto sedan. He had an Airraid with a tune on street tires, and he was running 112mph for what it's worth.
Just out of curiosity, what 60ft were you getting on 30lbs tire pressure? I have been getting consistent 1.90 60's on Continental DW at 25lbs.
To the OP, get a trunk tank, a good pump, and carry a big ass cooler with bags of ice to add to the tank. It will be a godsend whenever you get the itch to take your car to the strip in the summer, and will add some lag time before your cooling system is heat soaked. Roots style blowers put out a lot of heat and even on a stock power car, IAT1's can run well above the limit where the computer will pull timing. Probably wouldn't hurt to add an Ethanol sensor to your fuel line and get it tuned for E85 if you have it in your area. Runs a little cooler, and has better detonation resistance.
I'm getting a TA, pump, tank and 160 thermostat from Weapon X next week. Going to Irwindale Thursday night to see if I can get the 1/8 mph up on a nice cool night. Hopefully the car makes more power.
I was at the track 2 weeks ago and I was in the same shoes as you! I could not break into the 10's to save my life when I had already had in the past, then I calcuated the DA and found out it was 3800 and we had a 20-30 mph headwind with up to 40 mph gusts. I talked to some people that know more about drag racing than I do and they explained how big of an impact the DA actually has. I was doing some googling and came across this...
Yeah it was pretty bad. Big impact on our supercharged cars when compounded with the heat. How far off was your mph? That's where the power really shows.
3700ft DA is easily 50hp down on sealevel. I wouldn't trip too hard on it. I can tell you from flying helicopters that high DA has an extremely tangible and obvious affect on their performance.
Thanks for the responses. I've got a Weapon X Stage 2 cooling set up on order now. I'm going to run the Track Attack heat exchanger in series with the stock one (if possible). I think it is a basic requirement daily driving and racing these things in Inland Southern California.
