    Helmets

Now that MikeyBoyee started a helmet thread, here are my helmets:

New wraps from my buddy over at rabid wraps, Darius, he did a great job.

Both helmets full face (Stilo) open face (ZAMP) are wired for IMSA comms. I have clear, yellow and shaded visors for the Stilo, it is one of the best helmets I have ever owned and I have owned plenty.

Would like the carbon fiber stilo but dollars are better spent elsewhere. The Zamp is ok, price helmet, I should has spent the money on an open faced Stilo.

Let me know what you think of the wraps. I wanted an old school vibe on the open face, and the Stilo is done in company colors.

    Looking good!

I've used Simpson helmets for the past 25 years, but I need a new 2015SA this year and am considering Stilo - everyone seems to love them.
    Thanks LA!

Slilo is one of the better helmets I have owned. I have zero complaints on the product other than replacement shields are $100 bucks and carbon fiber models are $3K+. The one I bought was around $1k. It is getting a bit old now and I replace them after 4-5 years anyway. Will go with another stilo.
FYI I had a formula car land on top of me at NJMP, and I was knocked out. Helmet did its job and I was fine other than being on queer street for a bit. That made me buy another Stilo right away as that one was trashed.
