when I did the research when I was thinking about getting an ATS-V, it seemed downpipes, intake, and tune were the best ones to get 1st. then move on to E85

The Boost exhaust we make is one the most exotic sounding exhaust available for it too. Video is on the page

I think because of DI you have to run meth. Not sure tho?

Pssstt.... Over here. I've got the medicine!!!!!! While I don't know how fast an ATS-V is at that power level, I can tell you that one of my close friends has the New Era Intake and a dyno tune from 21st Century Muscle Cars and it put down 502whp through an auto. He was able to get multiple 147mph runs in the 1/2 mile and this past weekend he ran an 11.49 at our Texas V Club track rental. Pretty damn strong for intake and tune only IMO.

I have another club member that ran 151.1mph at the same wannaGOFAST Texas 1/2 mile event in a manual trans. His car is tune, intake, down pipes, meth, and a cat-back. 21st Century Muscle Cars did the work to his vehicle and if memory serves me correctly, I believe it dyno'd ~590whp.

Needless to say, Ben is really doing a great job pushing this platform ahead and I believe that these cars have the potential to be monsters. With that said, I would stick to engine upgrades and not mess with the suspension since it's incredible from a performance standpoint right off of the showroom floor. That's my opinion and certainly nothing against the products that Weapon X has developed for it.

The top on the list, in no particular order, are Fasterproms, New era performance, and WeaponX. They all have parts and provide tunes to my knowledge.

Renick Performance and KPE has some stuff too. As mentioned earlier I wouldn't touch the suspension. I don't want to mess with exhaust until I hear something in person. The most recent weapon X video on youtube and the borla exhaust didn't sound too bad on youtube. I do like the turbo sound coming through downpipes, sounds kinda like a grand national. If I had to choose one exhaust today I would probably go with the weapon x set up.

The Weapon X exhaust sounds great and so does the Borla cat-back.

Have there been any wastegate issues on the ATS-v's ? My buddies cts Vsport had to be taken in for a rattle coming from the wastegate.

How does it compare to stock? More aggressive? I like the quietness of the stock exhaust but I can only imagine how much it limits the car with the factory 2" exhaust. Think this was Cadi trying to save cost?

With meth around 600whp and approaching mid 10s. Stock turbos are limited by the little 65mm TB in the manifold. We're working on reducing that restriction by 25%

Some have had some chatter but I'm 8k hard miles no issue

Valves closed it's still somewhat quiet, valves open and it sounds throaty! Turbo whistle is intoxicating.

Going to be getting started on a 2017 ATSV coupe soon. Just had HP Tuners add support for the car yesterday.

Will be tuning, doing down pipes and dual 3" exhaust along with intakes. Then we plan to add methanol.

That's awesome to hear and would you please update us with how it goes and the results? I'm excited to see these cars getting played with and they really wake up with some minor mods!

    Sure.

These Hoosier 315s on a widened stock wheels will help the coupe hook up when we are done.

I have read that quite a few have issues with wastegate chatter. I've had nothing so far.

WeaponX has done some mods for the ATS-V.
