Classifieds Sorting- keys to help sort sedans/coupes/MT/AT etc.

Over on another diesel forum I frequent, there are keys you have to select when listing a vehicle. This way, you can select "Sedan" and "MT" and see all the manual sedans for sale instead of reading an ad titled "2011 V2 for sale". This would help bring traffic to the classifieds.

We can set up mandatory prefixes for classifieds when users are posting threads in there... is that what you're referring to?

Yea I reckon. The diesel truck site I use I believe has radio icons so you avoid spelling/capitalization/other errors etc. That would help cut down on the policing that would need to be done to enforce it. Thanks for hearing me out!

So all said and done the title reads "FS: 2012 Sedan, A6, Stock, free text, blah blah blah"

I can ask the mods on this suggestion. However if it does go through, it's only for new threads. existing threads won't have prefixes.

I vote do it and its always a good time to implement improvements even if they aren't retroactive.

still working on this with the mods. you guys have any reason why it's important? Other than what's posted already. I want to pitch it to the mods.

I just think it would make the future usefulness of the classifieds better. My $.02.

    Hey there,

The community support and mod team appreciate your suggestions.
Though they are not interested in following through with the suggestions.

    Again, thank you,

    Richard.
