    Can't view site from home.

But here's the kicker, I can't view it from my home network. Sure says that it's under going a server upgrade and to check back after 3pm pacific. I get this message on ALL devices that are on the home network, including the phone I'm posting from right now. When I switch the phone to LTE, I can bring the site right up no issue. Really weird. Any ideas gents? I can't imagine it's the router, just have a simple ASUS gaming router, it doesn't have much in the way of storage on it, doesn't cache websites or anything.

Router is rerouting your traffic. No other explanation...

Updated firmware on router, seemed to fix issue. Likely power cycling it would have worked as well.

Had no issues with any other sites, still was able to pull down my full 100Mb connection speeds (downloads kept up at 12.5MB/s). DNS is set to a couple Level3 servers on the router as they're faster than what Cox provides.

Chalk it up to just weird behavior.

I can't think of a way the Router would have been messed up. The reboot might have fixed it. But it seems more like a problem downstream in Cox. I suspect it just got better on its own while you were updating FW and rebooting.

I use Google's DNSs, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I figure if Google doesn't know about it, it's not worth accessing.

Yeah, google's DNS is good to a point. There are much faster DNS out there, and less susceptible to going down as well. Look up Steve Gibson's DNS Benchmark tool. Great little program to get the best DNS servers for your house/site to use.

Which would have merit, except the issue was across all devices on the network, windows based PC, windows phone, iPhone, iPad. Router was at issue. Was time to flash a newer firmware to the router anyway.

Sounds like something is running a caching proxy that got wedged and wasn't expiring assets. Could be your ISP, could have been software on your router.
