Sticky for newbies.......not what you're thinking

This is absolutely my favorite car forum bar none. The content is rich, the build journeys are awesome as is the advice that you get here. But my absolute favorite thing is the number of "inside" jokes. They are fucking hilarious. Now that we have a steady stream of newbies coming in it almost feels like we need a sticky for inside jokes. Does it diminish the joke? Just a suggestion.

First ones that come to mind:

    ZL1 lid for sale
    Cunt
    Lower my engine 1/4"
TriTexan verbosity (yes my man you are an inside joke.....in a good way)
    Ben = pusher
    New S/C = 600rwhp

I knew about Glennster, but couldn't remember the name. Some things you want to forget. And absolutely agree all 3 are must haves!

Beat me to it.. was reading along thinking "No one has taken a dremel to their injectors yet?"

I think this is a good idea. We would need links to the historical content threads or something so that noobs can get up to speed and we don't have to explain it all over again.

And I think mine should be "to go TriTexan" instead of TriTexan verbosity ". But I'm just honored to be inducted guys.

So Justin...Is this what is happening to you already? lol

I actually was out this morning early just begging to find some races at the local gathering here in NY and boy did I have fun! Ran two different new ZO6's, a 2008 or so ZO6 supercharged and a white coupe V that was f'in loud! Walked them all decently! I was in my glory this morning! lol...The new ZO6's are friends of mine and they will be running past me soon enough so glad I got my glory runs out of the way! lol Those f'in things are fast!

Anyway, point is....I am glad I didn't sell my car!

305lb driver...run it like I drive it every time I use it...pump E85, stock factory rims, MT ET street drag rad's and nothing removed for weight!

-New shit- A6 2.55/8.6 ID850's, stock exhaust & mani's with hollowed cats, stock heat X, NO porting of any kind, 4.5" intake (green filter), 160 stat, flex fuel sensor, ZL1 lid, Formato tuned! Dyno'd on drag radials NTO5's, E85, (actually E70) and hot humid weather - 624/640 (obviously more power than dyno said) Dyno means little...look at track times!!!

Best ET 10.49...Best MPH 133.6 (average 132.5mph) Best 1/8 105.14mph. Minimal mods and my fat ass (6'5" 305lbs) NO porting of any kind, NO headers, NO exhaust, stock mufflers, NO aftermarket heat X, STOCK cam and heads! I only have what is listed above!

-NEW NEW shit...Formato heads, BT3 cam, Formato ice tank, Formato tuned, varimax pump, ported everything...even the driver! 2.31/8.66 combo, stainless works headers...Hidden Content ! I am sure I am forgetting something but you get the idea! Made 747whp/730wtq on E85 (actually E72) on MT drag radials.

10.08@139mph 1.51 60' spinning the tire on the rim about 5-6" unfortunately after about 8 passes. Stock 19s w/ MT SS, fuel was E68, no weight removed as in NOTHING and my now 'less fat' ass 285lb driver lol, no different track tuning, NO ICE!!!...As always, I run the car the same exact way that it runs in the street every time I use it!

Best MPH 1/8 was 112.77mph best 1/4 was almost 140...139.79mph...trying to get one more runs in this year and get 9s on 19s and 140mph pass!

    This was absolutely awesome!

I wanted a wagon lol. I can't lie, I looked at some other cars. Nothing competes with the V in the price range.

I actually already bought a 2013 A6 wagon black raven with black recaro interior. Should have it modded before OC cruisin haha

That's why I can't sell it, I don't care for anything else...I am not really a big vette guy but if I would have fit in the new ZO6 then I would have gotten one!

So, you're coming to OC with a PRIUS is what you're trying to tell me?
