so i have been looking for a V and im torn on what to think when it comes to miles on a V. so what is considered too many miles and for what year V? should you be worried about the mods on the car when looking at the miles (wear and tear)? and what is the durability of the LSA when it comes to miles?

I'd worry more about a modded V than a stock V with lots of miles - but at the end of the day it's a used car and you'll never truly know the history, or whether it was a babied show car, or beat to hell and put back to stock.

Simply put, used Vs are like a box of chocolates - and you have to inspect each piece closely.

On the flip side, you can potentially have a few issues pop up if a car hasn't been driven enough. Mine has super low miles and sat for long periods of time. I recently had to replace the pinion seal. It had hardened from sitting and developed a leak.

2012 V Couple with 22,000. Minty fresh and owned by a retired gentleman who was evidently afraid of the supercharger. I got lucky and paid 34K for it.

Just picked up a 2010 Thunder Grey A6 Sedan with 17k miles. Tough to find them with low miles anymore. It seems like 30-50k is the majority of the market.

I guess Thunder Gray's don't get driven as much. LOL

Nice find! Maybe because our 2009's were the first year, people were more likely to own them as part of their car collection? That's the story behind my low mileage.

New to the site, I got my '14 v coupe in January had about 36k on it, roughly 38.5k currently. Commuting 50 miles 5 days a week now, but swapping the wife twice a week since her commute is 10 miles to keep the miles down

Congrats on the V... but what's that about wife swapping again? Twice a week is a pretty heavy rotation. LOL
