    V2 WEAPON-X Griptec Upper Pulleys - 2.5, 2.4, 2.3, and 2.17!

    CTS-V2 Racing by WEAPON-X Motorsports ? Griptec Pulley Combos for LSA, LT4, LS9, etc. CTS-V, C7 Z06, C6 ZR1

We've worked closely with Griptec to come up with some proprietary co-branded pulleys for the LT4 CTS V gen 3!

Upper kits are only $199 and you can do up to a 15% upper and we offer full snout porting and pulley press/pinned on these for $550 more. 103mm snout option available as well!

And yes we have cores to swap

    Who's ready to go faster?!

The WEAPON-X Griptec pulleys are the new latest and greatest in pulley technology for your CTS V2. The WEAPON-X versions are spec'ed out based on the 1.9L supercharger's capabilities in our proprietary sizes Pick your poison, but if you need help, call our supercharger specialists and we can make sure you're running the best combo for your setup!

GripTec® Micro is a micro ablation machining process. Our micro machining capabilities are near limitless and we apply our technology to give the target component an engineered surface design that optimizes the safest most aggressive gripping force possible. Our multi directional machined ridges and valleys offer up more than just maximum gripping force they also act as escape ducts for trapped air and debris further helping in the mating of the target surface and belt. US Patent 9,421,637

Belt slip is a very common issue on supercharged components. In fact some units cranking out as much as 14-16 psi can take up to 200hp to drive. Often the drive systems are plagued with slippage issues and builders find themselves moving to noisy cog systems, where belts have shorter life spans, are difficult to find at just any parts store and they can create more heat through the frictional movement of the cogs.

Belt slip isn't always noticeable. Often belt slip is noticed when the system squeals, squeaks or boost falls off. Did you know that naturally the belt can slip a very small percentage even on NA vehicles, one major factor to belts wearing. Belt wrap does play a key factor in minimizing belt movement but when it comes to driving a supercharger is hard to fully eliminate with just surface contact. Systems running 3.4 upper pulleys can see as much as a 1.5 psi gain when matching size for size pulleys.

Whether you are running 6 psi or 20+ psi you are slipping if you are not running GripTec®

    Pro's to using GripTec®

Increased boost and supercharger performance size for size pulley
Reduce or eliminate belt slippage on the applied component
Increase belt life from not slipping over and over again
Eliminate belt squeaks common when shifting hard
    Con's

To much boost for current engine tune. Adjustment may be required.

Will the 2.31 pulley for the LT4 V3 fit the LPE hub? i gave a 2.38 on it now. Also will it still retain the factory belt like the 2.38 does or will i need a new one?

yes I make pulley rings for the LPE hub, 2.31 is an oddball number though. I can do a 2.25 or 2.3 on there.

Yes, you'll need to machine the snout on these. We offer full services with the snout machined, pulley pressed and pinned, porting etc!

The 2.45 and 2.5 shouldn't need machining and the 2.17 i know will for sure but the 2.3 will need machining as well?

When will the 1.93 come out?

Can't we just spray some "grip coat" or something on the shaft and skip the pulley altogether?

Yes we have quite a few of them out there now, but we're still waiting on the next batch. They had a machine go down and it threw off all of their orders.
